Chesvan - The Month of Manasseh

4th October - 3rd November 2013

This is month eight and the number eight represents eternal revelation and new beginning.

It is interesting that the flood started in Chesvan and ended in the same month - new beginning

There are no holidays throughout Chesvan as this month is reserved for the time of the Messiah .
He will inaugurate the third temple this month.

Myrrh is the fragrance of this month and we can allow our sense of smell to be activated .

NUN is the associated Hebrew letter which symbolizes the Messiah that is why this month is also called the month of Messiah.

Allow the fragrance of God to permeate your whole being - spirit,soul and body . He is interested in dealing with our worldly “Greek” mindset and to help us to be transformed to think with a Hebrew mindset , that’s how God thinks !

Our sense of smell is greatly heightened this month and as the Jews think , it is a time to allow Holy Spirit to move within us . We smell the awe of God - sweet smell !

Part of our transformation and conforming to the Christ within is to be able to accurately digest revelation .  We MUST watch our words as wrong words can go into our stomachs and give us problems . We MUST watch our mouths !

In the area of the great flood which started and ended in this month , God is working that flood within us to deal with the root of whatever He is putting His finger on . We deal with root issues this month , better to do it earlier than later - this month is the right time to deal with them !

We stand in our authority this month .

God has reserved this month to draw out of us a new anointing . He pulls us aside to do this .

He presses us like a wine press presses grapes until He presses the anointing out of us. This can be an easy month or a tough one it depends upon what God is dealing with in us .

Cry out to Him to press the anointing out of you.

We heighten our dealing with trials and difficulties in the anointing and so we begin to be changed into Christ’s image .

Don’t let the enemy get the upper hand and try to conform you to his image !

This is such a strong month for revelation and anointing to flow through us and as we do we can have the upper hand over Satan .

Put your heel on the enemy’s neck and look down at your foot and declare “ I am preparing my heel to step “

Enjoy the fruit of the pressing ! It will be worth it !

Chesvan - Activation

Here is what the Lord wants to release over your finances , your life and ministry :

You will need to speak over your finances that you have received great revelation of God's purposes for those finances. They are set apart for Him and His kingdom purposes .
The tithes are Holy unto Him . Declare that you have stepped into a new beginning in your finances , your life and your ministry. That means that old things have passed away behold ALL things have become NEW !

2 Cor.5:17
Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.

Hold your head in your hands and declare that you have the mind of Christ and that you are moving away from Greek (Worldly) thinking and embracing the Hebrew (Biblical) thinking so that you will be able to comprehend what the perfect will of God is .

Romans 12:2
And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.

Now put your hand upon your mouth and say that you will speak NO negative words and ONLY positive building words will come out . You will bless and NOT curse !

Romans 12:14
Bless them which persecute you: bless, and curse not.

Now put your hand on your heart and say that you are opening up your heart to God to fully access every area of your heart to allow Him to bring every change that He wants to bring in you ....NOW !

God will always work for our good and works better with our cooperation ...so it's time to be open , transparent and vulnerable before Him !

So now the pressing ..maybe you think you have already been squashed !

Proverbs 3:9,10
Honour the Lord with thy substance, and with the firstfruits of all thine increase:
So shall thy barns be filled with plenty, and thy presses shall burst out with new wine.

Well He has more anointing to get out of you ! So speak to yourself again and say you think you have given yourself fully to God ..think again and this time give yourself unreservedly to Him ..be abandoned in Him ..give up your control and let Him control you ...now He will be able to get the whole anointing to flow out of you ...IT WILL BE WORTH IT !
Having done all this you can now get tough with the enemy !

Luke 10:19
Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you.

Put your foot on his neck and say this as you look down on your foot .." I AM ABOUT TO STEP FORWARD " Then step !

Tishrei - The Month of Ephraim

5th September  - 4th October 2013

This is the seventh month reckoned by months and the first of the months reckoned by the  years . It is an important month as it is associated with seven , completion and perfection.

It is a starting month and a finishing month so has some special characteristics attached to it.

Like no other month this month is special to God and is His month of appointed times.

In this month we are to return to God to experience His glory , His manifest presence.

Every month in the calendar has redemptive properties and we need to realise that we on earth are needing to line up with Heaven’s activities . An interesting scripture that demonstrates this is in Psalm 19:6 .

“His going forth is from the end of the heaven, and his circuit unto the ends of it: and there is nothing hid from the heat thereof.”

This is referring to the sun and it’s heat . God’s heavenly purposes are also on a circuit and it is time now for  the word of God to be pulled upon by us by faith to download heaven’s blueprint  here on planet earth according to His divine timetable.

This month is associated with Ephraim which means to multiply and be fruitful .

We need to focus more on our righteous dealings with God.

This month we can seek the Lord to ask Him for the path back to His perfect will. Maybe we have strayed off the path a bit . He will release the way back if we seek Him.

We can begin to decree that everything that has been scattered up until this time shall come back to us.

In the natural the autumn months receive their light as reflected light from the moon unlike the spring which receives it’s light directly from the sun. This means that the way things work together is different . Cycles change and we need to change with it. Planting changes, harvesting changes and we must change also to line up with the season.

Deal with issues that have caused bitterness to grow. This will keep us from returning to God .
Every root of bitterness has to be dealt with seriously if we are to benefit from God’s invitation to return to Him with gladness and fullness.

Let this month be a time when we can be truly awakened and aroused from our slumber and come into that strong stirring to just reach forward and touch the hem of His garment. When we do He releases virtue to bring us forth even more.

This is the seventh month and a month of completion but remember it is also the first month in the calendar. What we do this month sets the pace and the destiny for the rest of the year.
Enjoy Him , let go of yesterday , get rid of bitterness towards anyone and get back to God with fervour and delight .

You will not be disappointed. He is always FAITHFUL !

5774 - ayin dalet - Doorway of Opportunity

  

5th September 2013 to 24th September 2014

We have trawled through the Bible to see the words beginning with “dalet” to understand how these words form a pattern for the new year ahead .

We also need to remember that during the decade of “ayin” we are influenced by what has been released by the Lord for this period. The last page includes an overview of “ayin”.

In reality we are subject to both “ayin” and “dalet” .

We shall start this study with “debowrah” which is the name of a very familiar biblical
Character. She was a prophetic judge who was used greatly by the Lord to bring governmental influence upon Israel . Deborah was a powerful and influential woman of her day .

Judges 4:4,5
4 And Deborah, a prophetess, the wife of Lapidoth, she judged Israel at that time.
5 And she dwelt under the palm tree of Deborah between Ramah and Bethel in mount Ephraim: and the children of Israel came up to her for judgment.

This year will be a time of the returning of influential and powerful women . The Lord will bring an open doorway for women who know their God to advance into many areas which previously have been out of bounds to females . This is a year of liberty for women around the world.
Even those women who think they are secure and safe within their culture will experience “true freedom” .
There is an interesting but slightly negative part about the word deborah which means “bee” .
It is such an industrious creature but has developed a systematic and customary mode of function . We need to look into our own lives to see where we have allowed custom and tradition and the familiar routines of life to overflow us. This is particularly noteworthy when the Lord according to Isaiah 43:19 wants each one of us to do the “new thing” .

Isaiah 43:19
¹⁹ Behold, I will do a new thing; now it shall spring forth; shall ye not know it? I will even make a way in the wilderness, and rivers in the desert.

This means evaluating our present lifestyle and thinking patterns so that we can be shifted out of complacency and comfort into where God wants to position us in our spheres of influence at work ..at school/college ..within our neighbourhood ..even within our church family.

Another word is “dibbah” which means to slander,defame,give an evil report .
We need to look carefully at our heart attitudes and examine our prejudices. Maybe we say I have no prejudices . If we have preferences we have prejudices. The Lord says it is high time to get rid of the old attitudes that do not build up one another . If we continue in this way we shall destroy ourselves.

Galatians 5:15
15 But if ye bite and devour one another, take heed that ye be not consumed one of another .The body’s strength is dependant upon the way it functions together , every part doing it’s part .

Ephesians 4:16 Amp
16 For because of Him the whole body (the church, in all its various parts), closely joined and firmly knit together by the joints and ligaments with which it is supplied, when each part [with power adapted to its need] is working properly [in all its functions], grows to full maturity, building itself up in love.

How we get on determines our maturity as a corporate body . Time to change how we speak and deal with our hearts so that we overlook offences.

Matthew 6:14,15
14 For if ye forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you:
15 But if ye forgive not men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your
Trespasses.

dabaq , debeq and dabeq all have the meaning of being joined together from individual parts to one combined part . Like  a weld which is stronger than the two individual parts .
The two individual partners in the covenant of marriage are pictured as one body .

Genesis 2:24
24 Therefore shall a man leave his father and his mother, and shall cleave unto his wife: and they shall be one flesh.

Emphasis is being placed upon true covenant marriages in this year when so many conflicting values are being presented as legitimate. God has stated in His word that there is only one marriage that He recognises . Indeed He designed and established it that way . Man and woman are the only partnership He blesses in marriage. This statement by God in His word will be a mighty standard raised against all that go against His word.

Matthew 21:42-44
42 Jesus saith unto them, Did ye never read in the scriptures, The stone which the builders rejected, the same is become the head of the corner: this is the Lord's doing, and it is marvellous in our eyes?
43 Therefore say I unto you, The kingdom of God shall be taken from you, and given to a nation bringing forth the fruits thereof.
44 And whosoever shall fall on this stone shall be broken: but on whomsoever it shall fall, it will grind him to powder.

A very interesting word is debiyr which means an oracle , a shrine or innermost part of the
sanctuary . The Lord is emphasising to us at this time to look into our hearts , the innermost part of our beings which communicate with God. He says that so many things come to take our attention away from just focusing upon Him. Jesus said that cares and an unrestrained lifestyle would bring us into a snare. Time to control ourselves in the least so that sound integrity is reflected in our lifestyles to portray kingdom values as good disciples of Christ. This is the day to demonstrate the kingdom 24/7 . It can be accomplished in the least of our deeds.

Luke 21:34 Amp
34 But take heed to yourselves and be on your guard, lest your hearts be overburdened and depressed (weighed down) with the giddiness and headache and nausea of self-indulgence, drunkenness, and worldly worries and cares pertaining to [the business of] this life, and [lest] that day come upon you suddenly like a trap or a noose.

dabar (verb) is such a powerful word which will be part of the arsenal the Lord has released to us. It means to promise, confer ,decree, to be a spokesman.
dabar (noun) act, advice, affair, answer, decree.
The Lord says that He will be giving opportunity this year for many to volunteer to come to a place of prominence which in the past so many have shied away from. He says that His courage and trust are released for those who will come to believe that He has a great purpose for them in His kingdom advance in the nations. Will you come to partake of that courage and grace to come into greater partnership this year. Jesus said this about those who have been called and gifted to do something but hide away. Use it or lose it ! This is a year for kingdom reproduction and advance and it is through every believer who will come to the front and be counted !
degel means to raise a banner or flag , be conspicuous - raise a standard.
Time to raise the flag over our obscurity so that we can be seen . The veil of obscurity is lifted away as we press forward to do all that the Lord has given us to do.

Matthew 5:14-16 The Message
14-16 “Here’s another way to put it: You’re here to be light, bringing out the God-colours in the world. God is not a secret to be kept. We’re going public with this, as public as a city on a hill. If I make you light-bearers, you don’t think I’m going to hide you under a bucket, do you? I’m putting you on a light stand. Now that I’ve put you there on a hilltop, on a light stand—shine! Keep open house; be generous with your lives. By opening up to others, you’ll prompt people to open up with God, this generous Father in heaven.

Luke 19:26
26 For I say unto you, That unto every one which hath shall be given; and from him that hath not, even that he hath shall be taken away from him.

dagah means to fish , to spawn,become  multiply. This is in line with the great commission to be reproducers of kingdom purpose. Not to bury what we have but to allow it to be reproduced into the next generation so that they will in turn reproduce what we imparted into their lives. Success in life is measured by what we leave as an inheritance . Leaving the principle of reproduction and multiplication of kingdom values is essential for the continued advancement of the kingdom of heaven here on earth. Great increase will come this year as we are faithful to give not only in finance but of ourselves . All these things constitute kingdom values and validate us as kingdom reproducers . Remember that we do not look for the kingdom here or there because it is within us. To see it we have to reflect it !

Luke 17:21 Amp.
21 Nor will people say, Look! Here [it is]! or, See, [it is] there! For behold, the kingdom of God is within you [in your hearts] and among you [surrounding you].

Acts 1:8 Amp.
8 But you shall receive power (ability, efficiency, and might) when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you shall be My witnesses in Jerusalem and all Judea and Samaria and to the ends (the very bounds) of the earth.

Matthew 28:18-20 Amp.
18 Jesus approached and,breaking the silence, said to them, All authority (all power of rule) in heaven and on earth has been given to Me.
19 Go then and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them into the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit,
20 Teaching them to observe everything that I have commanded you, and behold, I am with you all the days (perpetually, uniformly, and on every occasion), to the [very] close and consummation of the age. Amen (so let it be).

Diyn means to contend,to execute judgement , to judge,to minister judgement , to plead the cause , to strive for equity .

Proverbs 31:9 Amp.
9 Open your mouth, judge righteously, and administer justice for the poor and needy.

One of the great principles of God is for His children to minister compassion to the poor and needy . Indeed He uses it so much to check our giving attitude towards the poor. In this new year we are being encouraged to go a step further than last year and to give some time to the poor as well as finance or food . This is a year that the Lord will be releasing favour upon those who will pity the poor. His strategy is to take from the riches of those who gain wealth by crooked means and to transfer it into the hands of the righteous. The righteous who move to help the poor in practicable ways not just pray. It is for those who take the extra step this year that He will release the blessings. It is time for the ordinary believer to stand up for the poor . As the word says to administer justice. This can be in a court room or in the street before great legal minds or before those who are treating the poor unfairly. The Lord takes our attitude towards the poor very seriously. It is upon our actions towards the poor that He rewards us.

Proverbs 19:17
17 He that hath pity upon the poor lendeth unto the Lord; and that which he hath given will he pay him again.

Proverbs 28:8
8 He that by usury and unjust gain increaseth his substance, he shall gather it for him that will pity the poor.

Proverbs 29:14
14 The king that faithfully judgeth the poor, his throne shall be established for ever.

diyshon , dalag - both these words relate to leaping as an antelope . We are reminded of the texts of God’s intervention mentioned in Isaiah 35. This is what happens when we give God the glory and give Him access to our lives. We are being encouraged in this new year to do just that.
GIVE GOD FULL ACCESS. He will turn things around like we have never experienced before.
A mighty year of supernatural  signs , wonders and miracles.

Isaiah 35:4-6
4 Say to them that are of a fearful heart, Be strong, fear not: behold, your God will come with vengeance, even God with a recompence; he will come and save you.
5 Then the eyes of the blind shall be opened, and the ears of the deaf shall be unstopped.
6 Then shall the lame man leap as an hart, and the tongue of the dumb sing: for in the wilderness shall waters break out, and streams in the desert.

daka and daqaq both have roots which deal with crushing and breaking into pieces , to make as dust . This can be applied to the characteristics of our hearts towards God. He reminds us of the necessity to keep our hearts in good health both naturally and spiritually. This is a time to revisit our hearts to see in what state they are. Do we need to deal with some heart conditions that are harming us. Maybe our attitudes are wrong in some areas . Allow Holy Spirit access to speak into our lives to bring about the changes that are needed. It can take time and determination to change our lifestyles but it is possible with His help. God enjoys those who allow change to come which brings a new attitude towards Him and His ways . This heart condition brings forth a greater capacity for faithfulness and reliance in the believer. God can trust us more and that is what He is looking for in us so that He can release more of His concerns to us. Greater partnership in advancing His kingdom in the nations which brings Him the greatest glory.

Isaiah 57:15
15 For thus saith the high and lofty One that inhabiteth eternity, whose name is Holy; I dwell in the high and holy place, with him also that is of a contrite and humble spirit, to revive the spirit of the humble, and to revive the heart of the contrite ones.

One of the words used for a two leaved door  , gate or lid is the word deleth . This new year the Lord is opening a doorway or portal of opportunity that has previously been shut.  It works in a similar way to the key of David , one of the keys of the kingdom. It is a key that Jesus the ascended king uses so effectively now and in His millennial reign .

Revelation 3:7
7 And to the angel of the church in Philadelphia write; These things saith he that is holy, he that is true, he that hath the key of David, he that openeth, and no man shutteth; and shutteth, and no man openeth.

Proverbs 8:34
34 Blessed is the man that heareth me, watching daily at my gates, waiting at the posts of my doors.

We wait upon the Lord for His timing . He exhorts us to wait upon wisdom on a daily basis . This can be achieved by reading and meditating upon the Proverbs . Each day choosing a Proverb . As there are 31 in all  , in a month containing 31 days we can just choose the number of the day . When there are more Proverbs than days we read more at the end of the month. The consistency of this action constitutes waiting upon wisdom . The doors of opportunity are there waiting to be opened. It is when we are actively seeking and attending wisdom that is when the doors are opened and we get to go through to what is on the other side.

Our final word is dath which means commandment , commission , decree , law and manner. It is a royal edict and statute. This is a very powerful word when applied correctly .

II Chronicles 30:5
5 So they established a decree to make proclamation throughout all Israel, from Beersheba even to Dan, that they should come to keep the passover unto the Lord God of Israel at Jerusalem: for they had not done it of a long time in such sort as it was written.

This decree affected the whole nation of Israel . When we establish a decree we too affect what God has stated in His word . The decree must always agree with the word of God in order for it to be established for kingdom purpose. It is used as the word for “law” which like “commandment” has a seriously strong and far reaching meaning and application. This is a year when some serious work will be done for the advancement of the kingdom in and through our lives. It seems as if the Lord is turning up the heat.
Another use of this word is “manner” and can be seen in the book of Esther . It was used to describe the custom or tradition of perfuming or beautifying the candidates for queen in Persia .

Esther 2:12
12 Now when every maid's turn was come to go in to king Ahasuerus, after that she had been twelve months, according to the manner of the women, (for so were the days of their purifications accomplished, to wit, six months with oil of myrrh, and six months with sweet odours, and with other things for the purifying of the women;)

God is dealing with our individual traditions and customs and showing us where they do not fit His kingdom pattern . We must adopt the culture of the kingdom . This must override all other cultures in order for His kingdom to be advanced in earth as it is in Heaven .

Overview of Meaning of this New Year 5770

It is the year of the Hebrew symbol AYIN 

Its letters spells a word in Hebrew TESHA it is NINE which relates to the full term of child birth .

It is a time to NURTURE  the new thing

The symbol is of a stretched out hand to God in prayer and the sword of the Lord , the ZAYIN .

When our hands are stretched out in prayer to God He releases the sword to come into the situation
Of need. Jehovah Yireh is the God that sees and meets the need. Phil.4:19

The eye of the Lord is going to and fro and is focusing upon our lives and  need . 2 Chron.16:9 the Lord will show Himself STRONG on our behalf in this season.

The season of AYIN will be for the next TEN years.  It will mark the END of CAPTIVITY Jer.29:10 .

It means EMPOWERMENT and RELEASE . Numbers 11 and Luke 10 .

With signs and wonders in full flow. It is a supernatural season with the ANGELIC WATCHERS - IRIN .

Increased  ANGELIC ACTIVITY.

It is the EYE OF GOD and a SPRING . Isaiah 43:19 A new thing with rivers in the desert .

We will SEE with DEEPER VISION - SEE MORE DEEPLY .

GREATER DISCERNMENT AS WATCHMEN.

We will SEE from DIFFERENT PERSPECTIVE than BEFORE.

Like Elisha we will SEE INTO A NEW REALM of the SPIRIT. Chariots of fire with the army of God.

We will have UPPER ROOM experiences. A year of the GIFTS and FRUIT  of THE SPIRIT.

ELYON is an AYIN word - God is MIGHTY POWERFUL and STRONG combines with IMMANUEL ,
GOD IS WITH US - present

It is a SPRING OF WATER BUBBLING UP IN US - Isaiah 60:1-2.

Elul

7th August to 4th September 2013(5773)

We have now reached the final month before the new Hebrew year which begins in September in the month Tishrei .  It marks the time to get things right before the new season starts.
It is in Jewish tradition a month of repentance and forgiveness .

“Elul” in Hebrew means search . This is a time to seek and search for God with all our hearts.

According to Jewish historians the month “Elul” was the month in which Moses received the second set of tablets of the ten commandments . He smashed the first tablets because of the sin of the children of Israel who had been impatient and turned aside to making a golden calf.
Exodus Chapters 32 - 34.
They wanted a natural image to worship. God had so much better for them if they had only waited. It is the same warning for us today . We can get impatient and make prophetic words come to pass. We don’t wait the allotted time  and we get out of God’s timing. This is a very dangerous thing as we get out of step with God’s ordained plan for our lives.

In the natural a man can reach retirement age and be in a position financially to give up his secular employment . The big but here is this ...did God say it was time to retire from that vocation or not ? God has glorious plans and wants to use us where we are to manifest His kingdom purposes through us. It may be that this vocation is part of God’s strategic plan in a specific time for certain things to be called forth and imparted . Who are we to do God a disservice by being selfish about our own ways . 
Stay until you are given permission from God to leave that post ! Otherwise you will be absent without leave ..AWOL !

Isn’t it interesting that this month according to the Bible in Nehemiah 6:15 is the time that the wall that Nehemiah was building around Jerusalem was completed.

Nehemiah 6:15

15 So the wall was finished in the twenty and fifth day of the month Elul, in fifty and two days.

If we study this chapter we will see that there was much opposition to the building of the wall. Sanballat and Tobias were continually harassing Nehemiah to side track him from this God ordained function and requirement. God wanted to bring restoration to the city of Jerusalem so that it’s security , governance and worship could function effectively again.

Our lesson is to know that God has such big plans in motion and some of them include restoration of lives . We too will have enemies of the vision God has released to us . These can be well meaning friends who don’t understand God’s timing or purpose and want to try and persuade us to leave that particular project alone. Beware of such friendships or relationships . Re-examine the integrity of your relationships this month . Don’t be afraid to set yourself apart and remove yourself from their presence or influence. It might mean cutting off communication in all it’s various ways..i.e. Email,social networking , texting ...these can all be a source of great comfort but also a great source of influence. Remember ..listen to God not man ! God will always give confirmation by His word and through two or three witnesses of the specific direction he is leading you in.  

2 Cor.13:1

1 This is the third time I am coming to you. In the mouth of two or three witnesses shall every word be established.

Another place in the Bible which gives specific mention of this month which is the sixth month is in Haggai chapter one . Here God releases a prophetic word for Haggai to speak forth to Zerubbabel , Governor of Judah ..it is for the people .

Haggai 1:4-10

4 Is it time for you, O ye, to dwell in your cieled houses, and this house lie waste?
5 Now therefore thus saith the Lord of hosts; Consider your ways.
6 Ye have sown much, and bring in little; ye eat, but ye have not enough; ye drink, but ye are not filled with drink; ye clothe you, but there is none warm; and he that earneth wages earneth wages to put it into a bag with holes.
7 Thus saith the Lord of hosts; Consider your ways.
8 Go up to the mountain, and bring wood, and build the house; and I will take pleasure in it, and I will be glorified, saith the Lord.
9 Ye looked for much, and, lo it came to little; and when ye brought it home, I did blow upon it. Why? saith the Lord of hosts. Because of mine house that is waste, and ye run every man unto his own house.
10 Therefore the heaven over you is stayed from dew, and the earth is stayed from her fruit.
 
Here is a message not just for these people but for us as well . We need to ensure that we do not neglect God . We must keep in good relationship with Him and most of all be obedient to Him . Here we see how disobedience has caused God’s favour to be turned off . Everything that would normally work for good is not . Because of disobedience !

Whenever we approach the completion of something about to enter a new phase we must take stock of ourselves and do a good self check. We need to audit ourselves spiritually and naturally.

This month is the final month of 5773 and on completion we shall enter into 5774 .

A great Bible principle is “ how we leave a situation is how we will enter the next situation “

Let Holy Spirit direct your heart attitude . This by tradition is a month of repentance and forgiveness In Judaism . We too can learn something from this . The finest way to get right with God is being open to Holy Spirit to guide us in repenting of sins of omission and commission.
In other words what we should have done and didn’t and what we should not have done and did!

Acts 3:19 Amp

19 So repent (change your mind and purpose); turn around and return [to God], that your sins may be erased (blotted out, wiped clean), that times of refreshing (of recovering from the effects of heat, of reviving with fresh air) may come from the presence of the Lord;
 
Keep short accounts with God at all times. As we get serious about our relationship with God at the end of this Hebrew year we accurately position ourselves for God’s favour to come upon us for the new year which He has planned for us to walk in .

God wants to continually bless us with His favour and how we receive it or not depends on where we are in relationship with Him. Our obedience to God determines which place we walk in .
We position ourselves accurately through obedience or put ourselves out of position through disobedience .

Proverbs 3:5-6 Amp.

5 Lean on, trust in, and be confident in the Lord with all your heart and mind and do not rely on your own insight or understanding.
6 In all your ways know, recognize, and acknowledge Him, and He will direct and make straight and plain your paths.

Av - The Month of Simeon

Av - The Month of Simeon 
8th July  to  5th August 2013

Historically this month was a sad month . Israel had the opportunity to enter the promised land on the 9th of AV but decided to believe in the 10 spies who said the enemy was too big. God had brought them out of Egypt miraculously but they did not believe God. They entered the sin of unbelief and so put themselves under a curse. So many things have happened to Israel on this date . Both temples in Jerusalem were destoyed on this date , the first in BC 587 and the second in  AD 70 , the Jews were sent to death camps from Warsaw on this date. Jews were expelled from  England in AD 1290 and from Spain in AD 1492 In AD 2005 the Jews start to be expelled from Gaza on this date. There are too many things that have happened on this date to make it a coincidence ....it is a curse and will only be broken when as the word promises they will believe in the Messiah - Yeshua . Deut.9
For us we have a similar choice this month to believe the promise of God that He has spoken over us or enter into unbelief and receive a curse. It is a dangerous month when we can either be at the high point of the year through obedience and faith or a low point which will follow us all year because of our unbelief and disobedience.

We need to be very careful what we hear , what we allow access to our ear gate. We can either reject that which does not build or we accept it and go on the destruction path. This month we need to “tune “ our ears to what Heaven is saying . This is underlines by understanding that the star sign for this month is “Leo” which represents the will of the Father. Amos 3:8
As we roar with the Father so we create a prophetic covering .

He will hone our senses if we give Him access. We will increase in discernment .

Av also means “Father” . We must hear what the Father is saying and do what He directs.
Psalm 32
He destroys and takes away and takes apart this month to bring about a “new “ construction in our lives. It may seem hard at first but if we know that God always thinks good about us then we will trust Him and allow Him to bring the changes that are needed . This is to fulfill His timing for our destiny. The month of Av is a month when God the Father brings a lot of changes . Sometimes He will take down something that to us seemed good and beneficial but to God it is not good enough and does not fit the service that must be brought forth for His divine plan to be accomplished in this season .

God is the God of second chance and when we repent of our past iniquities we are forgiven by God .We continue to hold responsibility to stay out of that iniquitous behaviour . When we can experience total freedom from past iniquity by not entering that area of our life again that is when we know that we are free from it’s influence. The blood of Jesus sets us free from all iniquity but we must maintain our freedom .

This month is when the earth begins to contract and so this causes earthquakes in the natural . Watch and see where they are developing in the earth.

The letter associated with Av is “tet” which is a picture of a womb . Many things will be conceived this month that will be seen later .

We need to be careful of our partnership and covenant relationships to ensure we align with the right thing otherwise we will pay the price later on in the year.

If we received advice we will prosper but if we decided to ignore the wise counsel then we will begin to experience the consequences for disobedience and pride.

1. NEXT MONDAY BEGINS THE HEBREW MONTH AV-AND THAT EVENING THE MUSLIM MONTH OF RAMADAN.

"From the straits I called to Yah. Yah answered me in a wide-open place. The LORD is for me, I shall not fear. What can humankind do to me...All the nations surrounded me. With the LORD's name I cut them down. They swarmed round me, oh they surrounded me. With the LORD's name I cut them down.You pushed me hard to knock me down, but the LORD helped me. My strength and my might [song] is Yah, and He has become my rescue [Hebrew: yeshuah/salvation]" (Psalm 118:5-14-Robert Alter translation).

Next Monday (starting at sundown the evening before) marks the beginning of the Fifth Month in the Hebrew calendar, the month of Av. The ninth of this month (July 16th this year) will be the "fast of the fifth month" (Zechariah 8:19) commemorating the burning of the First Temple in 586 BC. As we wrote at the beginning of Tammuz, the three weeks between the 17th of that month and the 9th of Av are known as Bein haMetzarim or the "Dire Straits" (Lamentations 1:3b)-an annual period within which much sorrow and calamity has historically come upon the Hebrew people. It is also a time, especially during the first nine days of Av, within which there is much superstition and, amongst certain religious streams of Judaism, many self-imposed strictures and austerity measures. "When Av comes in," says the Talmud "joy is diminished". Yet, we believe that Messiah Yeshua (Jesus) came that, even in hard times, our joy might be full! God longs for His children to trust in Him, and even in tight places to be strengthened with His grace. "When I call, answer me my Righteousness-God-In a narrow place you have made wideness for me. Grace me and hear my prayer!" (Psalm 4:1). Salvation comes by grace through faith. This month is a time of exercising our faith by choosing to call out to Him.

PLEASE PRAY:

*That God's protection, in particular through the first nine days of Av, be upon His people Israel. That their trust and faith be awakened to reach out to Him.

*That light be revealed regarding the His Son Yeshua, in whom it is possible to rejoice, even though now for a little while, if need be, we are grieved by various trials (I Peter 1:6).

*For Believers in Israel during this month-that vigilance, wisdom and faith attend our decisions. That we look forward to God's redemptive purposes for this month in faith and great joy.

AV - "FATHER"

Although Babylonian in origin, the month-name Av happens to be spelled and pronounced exactly as the Hebrew word for "Father". There is a tradition amongst some religious Jews actually to refer to the month as Menakhem Av-"The Comfort of the Father"-looking to Zechariah 8:19 which promises that this fast will one day become "joy, gladness, and goodly feasts for the house of Judah". For seven weeks after the 9th of Av¸ the readings from the prophets (Haftarot) will focus upon the God who comforts His people.

"Will you not from this time cry to Me, 'My Father, You are the guide of my youth?'"

(Jeremiah 3:4).

"All things have been handed over to Me by My Father, and no one knows who the Son is except the Father, and who the Father is except the Son, and anyone to whom the Son wills to reveal Him" (Luke 10:22).

"Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Messiah Yeshua, the Father of Mercies and God of all Comfort, who comforts us in all our tribulation, that we may be able to comfort those who are in any trouble, with the comfort with which we ourselves are comforted by God" (II Corinthians 1:3-4).

PLEASE PRAY: That during this coming month the Holy Spirit reveal to Israel the Father. That there be revelation of the Father-Heart of Israel's "Guide since her youth" (See above)-and of His Son, her Messiah and Savior.

RAMADAN

This year the beginning of the Muslim month of Ramadan again coincides with the first day of Av, beginning in most countries on Monday evening as Rosh Chodesh is drawing to a close. Ramadan means "intense scorching heat or dryness, especially as of the ground." Fasting during daylight hours (Including from both food and water) is one of the Five Pillars of Islam. The month migrates backwards through the seasons, coming each year about eleven days earlier than that previous. This means that this year it begins in the very heat of the fierce Middle Eastern summer, placing a frightfully difficult physical hardship on those Muslims living and working here. It is sometimes explained that Ramadan "scorches out sins with good deeds, even as the sun burns the ground." Yet "without the shedding of blood, there is no remission for sins" (Heb. 9:22)-Dependent only upon his own righteous works, man remains under a curse (Jeremiah 17:5-6) and only the dryness remains.

PLEASE PRAY:

*For mercy for the millions of Muslims who will be fasting each day of Ramadan and trying to do good deeds for cleansing from sin. That they will be freed from the bondage of the "scorching heat and dryness" of Islam, and will come to the Waters of Yasua (Hebrew: Yeshua/English: Jesus; Some believers coming out of Islam use the name Issa.). Pray for miracles of illumination amongst Muslims-that those who are truly seeking Truth will find it and be set free.

* For the Body of Messiah in Israel and throughout the world to be awake and stand in vigilance and attentiveness to the Holy Spirit during this time when there are great stirrings and strivings in the heavenlies released from this time of fervent fasting and worshipping to another god.

*For the sound of worship to the God of Israel break through the heavenlies during these days, supernaturally over-riding the sound emanating from the mosques.

A very important month when we are given a choice to choose between that which builds and that which destroys ! A month to build relationship and intimacy with God in Spirit and Truth .

Guard your heart and your eyes.

Deuteronomy 11:26

“ Behold, I set before you this day a blessing and a curse;”

Deuteronomy 30:15-19

“See, I have set before thee this day life and good, and death and evil;
In that I command thee this day to love the Lord thy God, to walk in his ways, and to keep his commandments and his statutes and his judgments, that thou mayest live and multiply: and the Lord thy God shall bless thee in the land whither thou goest to possess it.
But if thine heart turn away, so that thou wilt not hear, but shalt be drawn away, and worship other gods, and serve them;
I denounce unto you this day, that ye shall surely perish, and that ye shall not prolong your days upon the land, whither thou passest over Jordan to go to possess it.
I call heaven and earth to record this day against you, that I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing: therefore choose life, that both thou and thy seed may live: “
This month the children of Israel built a golden calf . Worship is the only antidote to idolatry !

Song of Solomon 5:2-12

“I sleep, but my heart waketh: it is the voice of my beloved that knocketh, saying, Open to me, my sister, my love, my dove, my undefiled: for my head is filled with dew, and my locks with the drops of the night.
I have put off my coat; how shall I put it on? I have washed my feet; how shall I defile them?

We do a double take on our vision ...look at our vision and then look again to ensure we really are on the right path . Check it out with the Lord ask Him what adjustment to make if any !

See who you come into alignment with this month ..check your handshakes ..your covenant agreements....this is a very sensitive time this month to accurately see your covenant
alignments.

See where you are in your walk this month and consult with the Lord to see what adjustments  need to be made.

Time to remove the protective shell from around you and give full access to the Lord to reach you and minister into your life. Get rid of the shell of protection and insulation .....isolation is not what God has designed for your life. OPEN UP !

Historically this is an interesting yet sad month . It is the month that the children of Israel sinned against God by making the golden calf and the first set of covenant tablets given to
Moses were destroyed.

Solomon’s temple was also destroyed this month . We must let our righteousness shine at this time , if we don’t we will come under great attack .

Don’t allow negative reports to come forth . Look at what the Lord has said about you . This is the true vision . Speak only that which build in agreement with God plan for you not what the enemy has planned. Don’t speak anything and you are in problems ...Confess God’s call and purpose for your life.

Reuben , Simeon and Gad were stationed at the south end of the tabernacle . They correspond to the summer months of Tammuz,Av and Elul .


Our eyes should be bright this month ...keep them bright in hope of what God is doing in your life.

Jeremiah 29:11-13

“For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the Lord, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end.
Then shall ye call upon me, and ye shall go and pray unto me, and I will hearken unto you.
And ye shall seek me, and find me, when ye shall search for me with all your heart.”

It is very important this month that we come into agreement with God’s call upon us and that we speak out and declare those purposes. Be careful not to speak anything which will pull down the positive .

Keep praising God for His wonderful grace upon us .


Be very thankful for all He has provided for us.


Shine brightly and don’t let the enemy have any foothold.


Boast on God and the exploits He has given us to perform !
